A Briefing on Texas wine-
Despite the obvious use of land in the Hill Country for cattle and farming, Texas vineyard owners were determined to prove grape vines’ ability to thrive there as well. Fall Creek Vineyards was established, and it was proven that European grapes could, in fact, grow in the Hill Country. In addition, Becker Vineyard was established and built up the reputation of great wine produced there.
